ARTISAN MAGIC
A gift from God.
Jesuit missionaries went to Mexico in the 1700’s to save Indian souls. It turns out that their own souls were saved, along with their stomachs. The Opata Indians had created an ancient healing remedy, an elixir that calmed uneasy stomachs. Before long the Jesuits were hooked on mezcal. Sipping a glass before each meal. Praising the benefits of this ancient, magical artisanal spirit. How could men of God enjoy something so sinfully good? Easily. Find out for yourself.

Saving grace in every sip.
HANDCRAFTED
Transforming agave hearts into ambrosia.
Many producers in Sonora risked their lives to make their Bacanora mezcal. For reasons that are still murky, Bacanora production was banned in Sonora, Mexico for 77 years. Anyone caught distilling agave piñas (hearts) were hanged or imprisoned. But these brave, committed men persevered, until the ban was lifted in 1992.
